Greetings everyone,
Welcome New Members Bobby & Miranda Sebesta
· M&M is moving next month. They have acquired a larger facility south of the Lexus dealer on 30. As I get more info I will pass along.
o It was brought up that when they get settled, they would like an “Open House” car show or something to celebrate. I said we would help out in any way we could.
· This years Club car show’s date is TBD, but Jason from M&M has contacted his friend who owns the Patrician Hall on 30 in Schererville and said we could use their lot. It is a huge lot right on 30 (next to Buddy & Pals). The location will give us great visibility. He is checking on the use of their restrooms and electricity.
o This years charity…we are taking suggestions. If you know a local family in need please let us know. The MS Society for last years drag day was good but such a small donation to such a large corporation seemed impersonal. Preferably, someone local who can be there and get more out of it would be great.
o Some suggestions so far are….a local group who helps Down Syndrome Children and Larry Phelps
· Bill has a list of the upcoming events and dates this year. When he returns, I will meet with them and update the upcoming events page to get some dates on there.
· I will be adding a new page to the website soon. It is a for sale page. Any items you may have to sell (corvette related or not), I will post them with your contact info for free. All transactions are directly between you and the buyer. I will have a disclosure written on it showing we are simply a venue for postings and are not responsible for anything. I will email you when it is up and running and you can send me a photo, brief description and price along with your contact info.
o One item that will be put on is Brian’s Mid America X-Pipe. I have had it in my garage for some time now. If anyone is interested before I put it on Corvetteforum please contact me for more info. I believe he is asking $200 OBO (it is $300 new in the catalog)
· Between now and the next meeting, we are going to setup a comedy night at Wisecrackers or a show in the Star Theater at the Radisson. As soon as anything is setup I will send out a flyer with more info.

Dues
The vote was taken to raise dues at the November meeting and passed by a large majority. 2010 dues are as follows...couples are $40 are single members are now $35. If you have already paid your 2010 dues, please make up the difference by March.

Just wanted to remind you that we are going to stop mailing the newsletter to save on postage and time and simply post all new information here instead.
If you would like to send me your email address, I can make sure you receive your own copy of the updated newsletter as it comes out, or just check out this page from time to time. Also, if you still wish it mailed, please call or email me and I can still mail you one as well.
