    June Newsletter

    Thanks to everyone who came out Sunday.  Our meeting at Buddy and Pal’s was a great showing.  Many members came out with their cars. Unfortunately, with the threat of rain we did not have a cruise afterwards as many of us took off for home shortly after the meeting

     

    At the meeting…

    A number of our Car Show award winners showed up to pick up their plaques.

    Previous to the meeting, I met with Andrew and presented him with a check for $2000

    The following is a note from Andrew and his family...

     

    Thank you letters have been mailed to all contributing sponsors for the Andrew show.

    Last Sunday, a number of us attended the Regional Streeters car show at the Lake County Fairgrounds.  Al Krok, Dave & Kelley Ruszkiewicz, and myself (Jeff Graystone) each took home awards in their class!

    Events Coming Up...

    June 26-29 is Bloomington Gold.  There are a number of us going but on different days.  Brian and I are leaving Sunday morning and I know another group is heading out Sat.  Email me if you would like to join either group for a cruise out there.

    June 28th is our Crown Point Fun Cruise.  Registration is 5-6pm.  All those interested in helping out please meet at the CP high school between 4-4:15 to setup.

    July 4th is the CP Parade.  We have a number of interested members so please contact me if you would like to join them and I can put you in touch with the parade coordinator.

    July 12th is the Valpo Vettes car show at Harbor Chevy in Michigan City.  It is a corvettes only show.  Registration is 10-12:30, awards at 3pm.  We are going to meet at the CP Buddy and Pals at 9am Sat morning to cruise out there together!

    July 13th is our Picnic / Meeting / Picture Day at Lemon Lake Park in Cedar Lake at noon.

    Just wanted to remind you that we are going to stop mailing the newsletter to save on postage and time and simply post all new information here instead.

    If you would like to send me your email address, I can make sure you receive your own copy of the updated newsletter as it comes out, or just check out this page from time to time.  Also, if you still wish it mailed, please call or email me and I can still mail you one as well.
